- This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for the ECU Spare Parts Kits established by Tyonek Fabrication, CAGE: 1XPL6, specifically for the 24,000 BTUH Split Pack ECU used with and designed for the PATRIOT Missile Defense System, NSN: 4120-01-570-3580 with P/N:2006031-01-002 CAGE:1XPL6, minus the evaporator coils, NSN:4130-01-5506-6591 with PN:178K0015-1 CAGE:94833. The 24,000 BTUH ECU is designed to circulate and cool or heat air in the shelter or enclosure on which it is installed. The unit is a split package ECU that is ideally suited for van or shelter type installations. The 24,000 BTUH ECU designed specifically for PATRIOT has a capability of providing 24,000 BTUH of cooling and two stages of heat rated at 18,000 BTUH (Low) and 30,000 BTUH (High). It is designed to maintain the air in the shelter or enclosure at the desired temperature selected on the remote control assembly. This acquisition is a one-time buy of 2 ECU Spare Parts Kits, NSN: 4120-01-570-3580 with PN: 2006031-01-002 CAGE: 1XPL6, minus the evaporator coils, NSN: 4130-01-5506-6591 with PN:178K0015-1 CAGE: 94833. The current source for these kits is Tyonek Fabrication, CAGE: 1XPL6, in Madison, Alabama. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of this unit is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing this unit must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-E-EC, Building 1200W, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. The response must include production lead time, production capacity by month, surge capacity, number of years part will be available, ranges for price breaks if applicable or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the parts. The response should also include documentation such as copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with this unit from the supplier listed above. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
