- Description
- The National Security Technologies LLC (NSTec) Underground Test Area (UGTA) Project is sponsoring an investigation well drilling program for the National Nuclear Security Administration’s Nevada Site Office. There will be 13 to 19 wells drilled over a 5 year period beginning June 2009. The well depths will range from 2,000 feet to 5,000 feet and will be located on the Nevada Test Site (NTS) and the Nellis Testing and Training Range adjacent to the NTS at elevations of 2,000 feet to 7,500 feet above sea level. The NTS is located approximately 65 miles northwest of Las Vegas, NV off Hwy. 95. NSTec will be soliciting for a 5 year, task order subcontract for supply of mud materials to support this drilling effort. The subcontractor will be required to provide materials including anionic polymer, foaming agent, bentonite and lost circulation material. This includes delivery of the materials to the NTS.
