Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue a Purchase Order to Computer Management Sciences, Inc., 634 Lakeview Drive, Hartfield, VA, 23071-3113, for the purchase of site licenses and one year of maintenance for WLM, DB2, CICS, WebSphere MQ, and DASD Component CPExpert software for the period of May 15, 2009 to May 14, 2010. This software is in support of SSA’s IT Operations Assurance (ITOA) project, which will lessen the impact of a disaster recovery event by establishing a second, fully functional, computer processing data center located in Durham, NC (the Durham Support Center - DSC). This software maintenance is currently known to be available only through Computer Management Sciences, Inc. All responsible sources that believe they are capable of meeting the SSA’s requirements may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. If the SSA does not identify other acceptable sources capable of providing this requirement, SSA may issue a sole source award under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government will not pay for information submitted. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing via e-mail to the point of contact listed below by March 27, 2009 at 5:00 pm EST. NO PHONE CALLS OR FAXES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
