Description
The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Joint Munitions & Lethality Contracting Center, on behalf of PM SoldierWeapons, has a requirement for the manufacture and delivery of the M249 Feedbox Support Improvement Kit (FSIK). This will be a five (5) year firm fixed priced Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for FY09 through FY13. The contract minimum is 16,845 units and 5 each First Article Test quantities. The following are the ranges for each ordering period: Ordering Period 1-10,000; 10,001-33,700; 33,701-58,700.Ordering Periods 2 thru 5 1-5,000; 5,001-10,000; 10,001-30,000; 30,001- 58,700. Maximum total contract requirement is 58,700. The M249 Feedbox Support Improvement Kit (FSIK) shall be manufactured, inspected, assembled, packaged, and delivered in accordance with (IAW) ) the Statement of Work (SOW) and the Government Technical Data Package (TDP) provided, which includes: U.S. Government drawings, Quality Assurance Provisions (QAP) and Specialized Packaging Instructions (SPIs). There will be a First Article Test quantity of 5 units each and a requirement to pass First Article prior to approval for full production. Delivery to commence with 545 units within 75 days after First Article Approval from the Government, with subsequent quantities of 2,000 units each per month commencing from there on out till the ordered quantity is fulfilled. NOTES: Note 1: The Technical Data Package (TDP) for the M249 Feedbox Support Improvement Kit (FSIK) will be marked Limited Distribution D, distribution authorized to the Department of Defense and its DoD contractors only. Only contractors who have been certified by the U.S./Canada Joint Certification Office under DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement process is eligible to receive TDPs with restrictive statement codes. To facilitate validation of the contractor certification, AMSTA-AR Form 1350 will be included in solicitations for contractors to complete and return to the contracting officer for process prior to release of any restricted TDPs. The form becomes part of the permanent fileDocumentation. Note 2: DD Form 2345: In addition, a copy of the companys State/ProvincialBusiness License, Incorporation Certificate, Sales Tax Identification Form or other documentation which verifies the legitimacy of the company must Accompany all DD Forms 2345. Note 3: DD Form 1350: Question 5 obtaining an ITAR number from theUnited States Department of State. This is necessary for any company thatwill be manufacturing Department of Defense equipment even if such items are not being exported out of the country, this process of obtaining this number costs $300.00 and is specifically required by article 122. This procurement is North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 332994. FOB is destination.
