- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, (VAMC), White River Junction, VT., intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with New England Air Systems, of Williston, VT., for all labor, tools, material, and equipment necessary for the removal and replacement of an air handler unit in Dietetic Service. Work will include, but not be limited to, correcting pre existing code deficiencies, removing existing makeup air unit, ductwork and piping, furnishing and installing new packaged makeup air unit, new exhaust fan, and new steam and chilled water piping to service kitchen area. New unit will be a package unit with high efficiency motor VFD, controls package, cooling coil, access doors, doghouse, and plated filters and will be interlocked with the exhaust fans service the kitchen so the required supply air can be modulated to match the exhaust load. This announcement is not a require for competitive quotations. No solicitation document is available and telephone inquiries will not be honored; however, interested parties may submit literature detailing how their services meet the VA requirements to the Contracting Officer. Responses received on or before March 27, 2009 will be considered. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice will be solely at the discretion of the Government.
