- NSN 1730-00-152-3577RN, Part Number 4S89032-101A, Aircraft Towbar, provides the means for pulling and pushing C-5 airplane by the nose wheel assembly. Requirement is for 1 each in the basic year. Also included, 4 additional Option Periods, 1-9 each. Place of delivery for basic quantity: FE2300. Delivery: 220 Calendar Days after receipt of award. Drawings will be made available on line when the RFP is posted. The approximate RFP issue date will be 8 April 2009; proposals are due 8 May 2009. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation at www.fedbizopps.gov only. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED and no hard copies will be mailed out. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. The Government will evaluate past performance utilizing the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS). OFFERORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW RATINGS IN PPIRS FOR ACCURACY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. All questions regarding the RFP and/or the data packages must be submitted in writing to Michelle.Cames@robins.af.mil with copy to Kathryn.Canady@robins.af.mil. NO TELEPHONE QUESTIONS. All questions and answers will be uploaded to www.fedbizopps.gov. However, the identity of the potential offeror will not be included. Offerors are encouraged to register to receive notification for solicitation and all amendments/revisions and to check the FEDBIZOPPS site prior to submission of proposal. THIS IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE.
