Description

The US Coast Guard intends to issue an Invitation For Bid to repair the cargo wharf fendering system located at Integrated Support Command, Kodiak, Alaska. Work includes complete removal of broken piles to be replaced with greenheart timber piles. Repair camels and chocks. The construction schedule shall be coordinated with three (3) US Coast Guard Cutters in-port schedules. Contractor shall complete all on-site work in 45 continuous calendar days with a contract completion date of 30 September 2009. The Government Estimate range is $100,000 to $500,000. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded to the lowest price responsible, responsive low bidder. Solicitation documents will only be available at https://www.fedbizopps.gov approximately 7 April 2009. An Interested Vendor List for this procurement will be available at the same website under the solicitation number. The size standard for NAICS code 237990 is $33.5 million. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside.
