Description
HSCG40-09-Q-50059 The United States Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for NSN 4730 01-548-3351, Couplinghalf, Quick Disconnect, part number AE88763R, quantity three (3) each, MFG: EATON AEROQUIP INC., ENGINEERED SYSTEMS DIVISION Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination, USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room, Bldg. 88, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226. NOTE: NO DRAWINGS OR SPECIFICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. No alternate parts will be accepted. It is the Governments belief that only Eaton Aeroquip Inc., Engineered Systems Division or an authorized dealer can furnish the required parts and ensure the proper fit, form and function of all components. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to furnish the above items are invited to submit complete information discussing the same in duplicate within 3 days of this announcement. However, other potential sources desiring to furnish other than Eaton Aeroquip Inc., Engineered Systems Division parts are required to submit the following information: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics) or 2) Data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the government or the original equipment manufacturer. This data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the proposal relative to the above requirements. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. The submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this contract. The Government does NOT intend to pay for information solicited. Request for Quotation (RFQ) HSCG40-09-Q-50059 shall be available for download from FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) on or about March 23, 2009, Quotations are due April 3, and award is anticipated to be made April 6, 2009. Contractors shall use ORCA to electronically submit annual representations and certifications (REPS & CERTS) in accordance with FAR Clause 52.212-3. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the FBO system for changes or amendments to this quotation. Award will be determined by Price and Price related factors. See Numbered Note 1.
