- Description
- The Middle Rio Grande Endangered Species Collaborative Program (Program) through the Bureau of Reclamation has an upcoming requirement for the reproductive efforts monitoring of the Rio Grande Silvery Minnow (RGSM) including viable egg collection in the Isleta and the San Acacia reaches of the Middle Rio Grande. Extensive egg monitoring (3 times a day, two hours each in duration) will take place during the 2009 spring run-off, approximately between the months of May and June. For this requirement, applicable federal and state permits must be obtained prior to performance. Evaluation criteria for award consideration, listed in descending order of importance, may include technical capability to satisfy the government need, qualifications of proposed staff, past performance on similar or comparable projects, and price. Technical capability and past performance when combined are significantly more important than cost or price. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded resulting from Request for Quotations No. 09-SQ-40-8295 using procedures prescribed by FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures, which will follow this announcement shortly.
