- TAS::12 1102::TAS "Recovery" roof replacements on auto shop, fire cache, and Echo Summit Chalet located on the Eldorado National Forest. The fire cache and auto shop are located at 2350 Carson Road, Placerville, CA. The Echo Summit Chalet is on the S side of US50 at Echo Summit, California. Contractor is responsible for the removal and disposal of existing roof systems on all buildings. All roof systems shall carry watertight warranties from the manufacturer. Warranties will cover the roof systems in their entirety including all penetrations, flashing, and trim. Warranties are to cover materials and labor. All roof systems are to be installed per the manufacturer's recommendations. The Fire Cache & Auto Shop shall be replaced with membrane roof systems & 24-gauge pre-finished edge flashing, copings, skirt flashings, and all misc. flashing required for a complete watertight project. The watertight warranty period for both roofs shall be 20 years. The Echo Summit Chalet shall be replaced with a 24-gauge standing seam metal roof system with self adhering underlayment. Roof system shall include all clips, perimeter flashing, penetration flashing, closures, snow guards, and pipe supports. The Echo Summit Chalet shall have a 30-year watertight warranty including but not be limited to any damage due to the heavy snow loads at Echo Summit. This contract was a non-competitive set-aside under section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. This notice is for information purposes only.
