Description
The Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), National Operations Center intends to procure additional uniform components for authorized BLM employees. The BLM currently acquires uniform components from three vendors. The BLM recently completed its uniform acquisition. Six items received no response or were deemed unacceptable by the evaluation committee. These are the six items being procured under this acquisition. They include an ivory ball cap, a brown ball cap, a polo shirt, a moisture wicking button front shirt, khaki slacks, and sand colored Levis or equivalent. If a vendor is able to furnish equivalent items in the color, fabric and style as those shown in the catalog, or is proposing a new item, they are invited to submit an offer. To view the catalog of items BLM purchased through 12/31/2009, go to http://www.blm.gov/natacq/uniform/ Username: uni_form and Password: q*2Nt.5Q Although the catalog has not been updated with the most recent uniform items, it provides a general sense of items the BLMs needs. Full specifications of all items being procured will be provided with the solicitation. The government reserves the right to award single or multiple awards, firm unit-price, indefinite-quantity/indefinite delivery type contract(s). The contract award will be one base period plus four one-year options.
