- The Western States Network Consortium plans to issue a multiple award solicitation for onsite document shredding services as a Full and Open Competition. The services must be compliant with NIST Special Publication 800-88, "Guidelines for Media Sanitization." The request for proposals will be released on or about March 25, 2009 with responses due by May 8, 2009. Pre-solicitation meetings will be scheduled in Sacramento, Long Beach, and Tucson.
