- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-West, Presidio of Monterey has a requirement for the repair of a hot water system in Sacramento, CA. The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary to improve the hot water pressure and volume to the latrines and all other plumbing reliant on hot water in the lodging center Building 650. The work will include but is not limited to piping modification and replacement to the DHW return piping and associated shut off valves; cold water feed piping and associated valves; DHW storage tank outlet / boiler circulation piping; and, to install a new DHW inline return pump, and a new boiler circulating pump. All operations necessary to accomplish the work will be done in accordance with the Scope of Work. This acquisition will be a 100% Small Business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238220 with a size standard of $14M. This contract will be awarded based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable offer to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.101-2. Performance period is 120 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated magnitude for this project is less than $25,000.00. Payment and performance bonds or alternate protection will not be required for this award. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. Solicitation number W9124N-09-T-0099 will be available on or about 31 March 2009 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website (http://www.fbo.gov). Paper copies of the solicitation will not be furnished. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database (www.ccr.gov) prior to award of a government contract.
