- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCDD), intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis for (50) fiber optic fast response time temperature probe for EED test, 1.5m to be purchased from Opsens, Inc., 2014 Cyrille Duquet, Bureau 125, Quebec G1N 4N6 Canada. This specific product is necessary to be used as direct replacement parts to be used with Opsens Radsens Fiber Optic EMC Test System. Award is to be made under simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13 as a Firm Fixed Price purchase order. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is _334513_ and the business size standard is _500 employees__. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY REQUEST FOR QUOTATION, AS ALL ITEMS ARE SPECIFIFED UNDER THIS NOTICE AND A WRITTEN SOLICIATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Vendors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423,! or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please note that defense payment offices may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT). EFT payments are based on the contractor's EFT information contained in the CCR database. This synopsis will close on 27 March 2009 at 2:00 PM ET.
