- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) has issued a request for Proposal (RFP) W81GYE-09-R-0013 for Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services (S&RTS) at the Port of Port Arthur, TX. The period of performance will commence on or about 3 April 2009. The Contractor will arrange for Stevedoring Services, including material and equipment, except those materials specified as Government Furnished, in accordance with the RFP and Performance Work Statement, to discharge DoD cargo from one vessel, the ARC Patriot. NAICS 488320, Federal Supply Code: V114. The RFP closes on 24 March 2009 at 12:00 P.M. (CDT).
