Description
Response Date: MARCH 27, 2009 2:00EDT. The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) is seeking qualified Design/Build firms to provide design and construction services for a site adapt project at the Columbia Basin Civilian Conservation Center in Moses Lake, Washington. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. The estimated design and construction range for this project is $1 million to $5 million. DOL is looking for a firm that qualifies under the Small Business Programs that are mentioned in the Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 19. If interested please provide a capability statement, ONLY FIVE PAGES IN LENGTH, to include three (3) projects completed within the last five years that are relevant to the work that will be required under this project. Provide a point of contact and contact information for each project listed. An electronic version of your capability statement shall be submitted by E-MAIL ONLY to arnold.johnny@dol.gov NO LATER THAN MARCH 27, 2009 2:00pm EDT. The project involves services for the design and construction of a new 136 bed two-story dormitory building at the Columbia Basin Civilian Conservation Center. The building, totaling approximately 27,873 gross square feet, shall be designed and constructed through the use of plans and specifications provided by the U.S. Department of Labor which must be updated to meet current code requirements and address building sustainability. The work will also include miscellaneous site improvements in the form of storm water drainage, connections to all utilities (not limited to electrical power, propane fuel tank and service lines, potable water, sanitary sewer, and provision for telephone, cable TV and IT services), paving required to service the building, site/security lighting and general landscaping associated with the new building. NO OTHER INFORMATION WILL BE AVAILABLE. NO TELEPHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED. No proposal costs will be reimbursed. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. The NAICS Code for this project is 236220 and the Small Business Standard is $33.5 million.
