Description
FBI Intelligence Information Report Dissemination System (FIDS) Introduction: This SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE is to determine the availability of potential companies to include but not limited to small businesses (e.g., 8(a), service-disabled veteran owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, veteran-owned small business, and women-owned small business) that can provide Information Technology support for a complex jBoss web application with an Oracle 10g database. NAIC : Personnel should have expertise in the following North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code: 541511 (Custom Computer Programming Services) 541512 (Computer Systems Design Services) 541519 (Other Computer Related Services) The information from this market research will help FBI plan their acquisition strategy. Please be sure to indicate if you have a GSA schedule contract, a contract on GSA 8(a) STARS, or a contract on GSA VETS GWAC. THIS IS STRICTLY MARKET RESEARCH Response Information: In order to respond to this notice, contractors must be able to indicate experience and/or the ability to provide all of the numbered points below. Give enough detail so your response clearly indicates that you can provide the following: 1. Information Technology support and implement modifications to current in-production solutions while adhering to FBI's processes for software support and development. 2. Support to FIDS users and stakeholders 3. Corrective maintenance: Identify and resolve software failures, performance failures, and implementation failures. 4. Perform adaptive maintenance to upgrade: Convert or enhance the system to adapt to changes in the system and functional requirements or the processing environment. 5. Ensure standards set by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the FBI Directorate of Intelligence are successfully met. 6. Maintenance: Ability to enhance system performance and improve maintainability, processing efficiency and cost effectiveness. 7. Provide streamlined code that is efficient to optimize performance of system. 8. Provide labor and technical expertise needed to continue support of the FBI's Intelligence Program and FIDS. Describe knowledge of the following: 1. J2EE web application development, testing, and implementation of fixes and/or enhancements in a critical application environment. 2. Include the following application for assessment: Java, Hibernate2, Struts, Javascript, AJAX, Jamon 1.3, FOP, dom4j, log4j, LDAP, Jasper Reports, MVC, Oracle 9i / 10g, SQL, PL/SQL, jBoss, Subversion, Eclipse, XML, GUI Design, JAXB, JWSDP, Web Services, SOAP, and Quartz. This is not an invitation for bid, request for proposal or other solicitation and in no way obligates FBI to award a contract.
