Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District is seeking expressions of interest in proposing on a Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Job Order Contract (JOC) type to acquire real property repair, maintenance, minor construction, and/or asbestos abatement to support work primarily for USAG Grafenwoehr, USAG Franconia, USAG Sttutgart, USAG Ansbach, USAG Baden-Wuerttemberg, USAG Scheinfurt, USAG Bamberg, USAG Garmish, USAG Hohenfels, USAG Schweinfurt Germany. Orders will primarily address general building renovation, road and pavement repair, and general environmental work including, but not limited to, incidental minor construction, excavation, plumbing, demolition, electrical, structural, mechanical, concrete work, and environmental remedial work. JOC task orders are normally comprised of a number of pre-described and pre-packed tasks described for each project and priced using a Unit Price Book. This solicitation will be used to award one (1) IDIQ JOC contract. The award will be made on Best Value to the Government, based on price and other factors considered. The contract will consist of one (1) base year and two (2) option years for a possible total of a three (3) years IDIQ contract, if the Government chooses to exercise the option years. The estimated value of all work awarded under the contract is $15,000,000.00 for the base year and each option year, or $45,000,000.00 for total over the life of the contract. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information provided. The Government will post this synopsis, the solicitation, and all subsequent amendments through the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Web Site to the Government-Wide Point of Entry (GPE) Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) Web Site http://www.fedbizopps.gov. It is the Offerors sole responsibility to obtain the solicitation and any subsequent amendments through this website. Offerors are encouraged to visit this web site and become familiar with its content and functionality. Information will not be available through the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeDS). Prospective Offerors must provide all information necessary to receive posting notifications. The solicitation will be issued on or about 6 April 2009. The solicitation will be issued free of charge and available electronically. The USACE EUD Contracting Office will be the sole point of contact for this solicitation. All qualified and responsible offerors may submit a proposal and will be considered for award. Offerors shall determine whether performance requires registration with German authorities or authorization to do business in Germany and if so, shall comply with all requirements. Offerors must submit their expressions of interests on or before 4 April 2009.
