- Description
- This requirement will be to deliver/pickup mail, lab specimens, and linens on a daily basis from surrounding Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC), the VA Medical Center, neighboring Health Laboratories and Utah Department of Health as per SOW for the VA Salt Lake City Health Care System. The contract will be a indefinite quantity commercial contract. The solicitation will be issued as a commercial procurement in accordance with FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and in accordance with FAR Part 15 - Contracting by Negotiation. Documentation of certified training for all personnel involved in the packaging and shipping of infectious material. The contract will run from date of award through September 30, 2009 with four one-year options to extend the term of the contract. Issue date is on or about March 27, 2009. Offers must be returned by COB April 17, 2009. All requests must be in writing by email please reference: VA-259-09-RP-0120. All prospective offerors desiring to submit proposals in response to any Federal Agency must obtain a Dun and Bradstreet Number at www.dnb.com. There is no cost to obtain this number.
