Description
NSN 5985-01-476-2027 Estimated Annual Demand Quantity 179 Unit of Issue: EA Item and Part#: Antenna93346 P/N AS0-2072AR Antenna06351 P/N AS0-2072AR All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The subject requirement is for acquisition of 1 NSN(s) with various end items. This proposed procurement includes items within the Federal Supply Class 5985. See Note(s): 12, and 26: 12: One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. 26: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract for which delivery orders may be placed for one (1) year. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about 6 April 2009 at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. The scope of this contract includes the acquisition of one 1C code / part numbered item(s). This AMSC code implies that parts procured under this NSN require engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity’s procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract for parts from approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The delivery for this acquisition will be on an FOB Destination basis. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
