Description
RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER HQ AFRC COMMAND-WIDE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE PROJECT EXECUTION CONTRACT (COMPEC). The 934th Airlift Wing will be soliciting for Project #QJKL 08-0018, Maintain Aircraft Parking Apron. Work to be performed within NAICS code: 237990 size standard $33.5M. Work to include (but is not limited to) removal of existing damaged airfield concrete and reinforcement, repair and replacement of concrete, and other miscellaneous repairs and markings of airfield pavement. Location is on the airfield in Area N at Minneapolis-St Paul Air Reserve Station, Minneapolis MN. Performance period is 120 days. Magnitude of acquisition is between $1M and $5M. A Request for Proposal (RFP) is contemplated under COMPEC utilizing a best value source selection procedure as described in the RFP letter. The Recovery Act (Economic Stimulus) requires all projects to be firm-fixed price utilizing competitive procedures and maximizing small business participation to the fullest extent practicable. Small businesses are encouraged to sign up at this website as an "Interested Vendor" to promote maximum use of small business participation. Site Visits are scheduled for 07-08 April 2009, 10:00AM (CST). Firms wishing to attend these visits must provide their company name, personnel name, drivers' license number and state issued for prior clearance before planning to attend. Only COMPEC contractors may submit a proposal, which will be evaluated as per the criteria identified in the RFP. Proposals are due electronically on 21 April 2009, 2:00pm (CST).
