THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER Smithsonian ID/IQ F0236CC10502. The Smithsonian Institution is seeking a proposal to provide architect / engineering services related to the preparation of an addendum to an outstanding Request for Proposal, dated February 24, 2009, for Office of Facilities Engineering and Operations Project No. 0782102 ("Emergency / Standby Power System Upgrades"). This Addendum shall cover the provision and installation of a new "emergency" and "stand-by" generator, in lieu of utilizing the existing generator referenced in the original Request for Proposal, at the Administration and Research Facilities at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC) located at 647 Contees Wharf Road, Edgewater, MD 21037. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 541310, and the annual size standard is $4,500,000. The estimated price range of this requirement is between $33,000 and $55,000. It is the Smithsonian's intent to issue a modification to Work Order Contract No. F07CW10379 under ID/IQ Contract No. F0236CC10502 to Ewing Cole, Inc.
