Description

THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER Smithsonian ID/IQ F036CC10259. The Smithsonian Institution is seeking a proposal to furnish all supervision, labor materials and equipment needed to repair and upgrade high-priority escalators and elevators stationed at the National Air and Space Museum (NASM) and National Museum of American History (NMAH), respectively, both located in Washington, D.C. Duration of the Con tract is two hundred and forty-four (244) days. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 333921, and the annual size standard is 500. The estimated price range of this requirement is between $625,500 and $1,042,500. It is the Smithsonian's intent to award a firm-fixed price Work Order Contract to under ID/IQ Contract No. F07CC10281 to Schindler Elevator Corporation. A single or multiple awards will be made from this solicitation whichever is in the best interest of the Smithsonian. The Work Order(s) will be awarded under the authority of FAR 16.505. Davis-Bacon Wages presently in effect for Washington, D.C. will prevail.
