- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY for market research purposes to identify interested vendors for the requirement detailed below. A formal Solicitation, with Performance Work Statements or Technical Exhibits is not available for review at this time. Information obtained from this sources sought notice may result in a future formal Request for Proposal. The Government reserves the right to set-aside any subsequent acquisition based upon known sources and/or responses to this synopsis. 1st ANGLICO, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton has a requirement for a Remote Video Terminal Receiver or equal product with similar characteristics listed below. The unit requires a lightweight expeditionary RVT in order to conduct training for future deployments. Missions in current and future deployments actively use RVT in order to receive telemetry from UAVs and other aircrafts to achieve better situational awareness and more precise aerial and indirect fire strikes. The unit requires a RVT that is ruggedized that can be transported and used to all training venues and whose use can be comprehended quickly and easily by beginning RVT users. The RVT must be multi-channel and able to receive live, full-motion telemetry from UAVs, UASs, UAG, and aircraft. It must be ruggedized and expeditionary. It must be small enough to be put in small pack or pouch and readily accessed. It must be waterproof and shockproof, and have non-rigid, ruggedized antennas. It must have a long-battery life, able to use multiple types of batteries, and able to use external power such as a vehicle or generator if available. The controls must be easy to use and learn from, with simple and straightforward basic functions and button-use. The unit requires a 3-year maintenance agreement to be included in the contract. In a capabilities package, firms responding to this announcement should include company name, cage code, point of contact, address, and indicate whether they are a small business, 8(a) concern, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, women-owned small business. Additionally, indicate if they are a GSA contract holder. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis for market research purposes only and is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). No solicitation is being issued at this time and this notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Participation is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the Government. Responses should be a maximum of 5 pages in length, one copy.
