- J & A document for RFQ 1040 This acquisition is 100% set-aside for HUBZone small business entities. The applicable NAICS code is 432430 and the corresponding small business size standard is 100 employees. The Defense Logistics Agency, Contracting Services Office - Battle Creek, Michigan has a requirement for one (1) each, DELL Power Edge Rack 900 server Catalog Number 16 G2041 configured as follows. Please be sure to include the DELL part number on each of the following 19 components: 1. DELL PowerEdge R900 2x Dual Core E7220 Xeon 2.93 GHz, 8M Cache 2. Operating System: No operating system 3. Additional Processor: Upgrade to Four Dual Core E7220 Xeon 2.93 GHz, 80W, 1066 MHz FSB 4. Memory: 16GB Memory, 8x2GB 667 Mhz 5.Primary Hard Drive: 146GB, SAS 2.5 inch 10K RPM Hard drive 6. Network card: Four (4) fully integrated Broadcom 5708 Gigabit NICs TOE Capable 7. Modem/DRAC: Dell remote Access Card 5 PCIe 8. Optional Optical Drive: 8x DVD-ROM, Internal 9. Bezel: PowerEdge R900 Active Bezel 10. Backplane: 1x8 SAS Backplane for 2.5 inch SAS hard drives only, Power Edge 900 R900 11. Second Hard Drive: 146GB, SAS, 2.5 inch 10K RPM hard drive 12. Hard Drive Configuration: Internal PERC RAID Controller, RAID 5 Configuration 13. Chassis Configuration: Versa Rails for Dell Racks 14. Hardware Support Services: 5 Year ProSupport for IT and Mission Critical 4 Hour, 7x24 on-site Pack. 15. Installation Services: No installation service is required. 16. Power Cords: 2x Power cord, C13 to C14, PDU style, 10 amps, 10 feet/3 meter, 17. Third hard drive: 146GB, SAS, 2.5 inch, 10K RPM, hard drive 18. Fourth hard drive: 146GB, SAS, 2.5 inch, 10K RPM, hard drive 19. Fifth hard drive: 146GB, SAS, 2.5 inch, 10K RPM, hard drive Inspection, acceptance and F.O.B are Destination, Battle Creek, Michigan. The required delivery date is 30 days after receipt of a signed order. No hardware trade-ins are available. Only new hardware is solicited. Quotations based upon reconditioned or remanufactured hardware are technically unacceptable and will not be considered for award. A “green” Dell server is not being solicited nor is one required to be quoted. This acquisition is as an open market transaction using FAR Parts 12 and 13. Therefore, any quotation based upon a multiple-award schedule, government wide acquisition contract (GWAC) or a GSA/FSS schedule contract will be deemed non-responsive and ineligible for award. Furthermore, any quotation received that is based upon a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) will also be deemed non-responsive and ineligible for award. Please forward a complete text copy of the DELL 5 Year ProSupport for IT and Mission Critical 4 Hour, 7x24 on-site Pack warranty concurrently with the submission of your quotation. Please be sure to quote the FIVE YEAR warranty coverage. Receipt of your quotation is due no later than Friday, March 27, 2009 at 11 a.m. Eastern Time. Send facsimile quotes to (269)961-4226: ATTN: DCSO-B. Quotes sent via surface mail shall be sent to the address identified in this FEDBIZOPS announcement as the place of performance, ATTN: DCSO-B. A.pdf copy of the required FAR 6.302-1(c) brand name justification and approval document is included with this request for quotation package. One award will be made. Evaluation factor for award is lowest price, technically acceptable. No telephone calls accepted either pre-award or post-award.
