Description
This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. This is a synopsis for the procurement of the following supplies and services on a sole source basis from FLIR Systems Inc., North Billerica, MA, 01862: Test, Teardown and Evaluation, Non-Warranty Repairs, Refurbishment, Revision/Product upgrade, Spares and associated line items for the MARFLIR (AN/KAX-1(A), AN/KAX-2(A)), CCFLIR, SIRVSS, and variants thereof of these systems in accordance with Statement of Work. Note: Minor repair efforts are completion efforts. Major repairs are level of effort. The test, teardown, and evaluation, repairs, upgrades, and spares sought are required to make repairs on the MARFLIR, CCFLIR, and SIRVSS systems. For the repairs and upgrades of the MARFLIR, CCFLIR, and SIRVSS systems, the Government will furnish the system as Government Furnished Equipment to be repaired/upgraded by the contractor. Delivery required FOB Destination to Crane, IN, delivery required 10 business days from effective date of delivery order for most actions and as negotiated for the spare parts. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 334511 and the size standard is 750 employees, Federal Supply Class 5855. This will be a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) and Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a 5 year ordering period. Sole source due to proprietary data. This effort will be awarded ! utilizing FAR Part 15.
