- Description
- In building 1403/04 replace 23 hallway doors and door frames. In building 1405/06 replace 24 hallway doors and door frames. The replacement door frames will be metal and sized for 7'0" x 3'0" doors. The doors must be solid core wood with a twenty minute fire rating and left hand swing. The new doors must be equipped with three self closing hinges and the folowing hardware: best brand knob set - catalog number 83K7AB4A-S3-626-RH less core, this is an 8K cylindrical heavy duty knob set AB. Door frames must be painted to match the existing frames. All frames will receive one primer coat and two coats of epoxy enamel paint. Doors must be stained to match the color of the existing doors. All doors must receive two coats of stain and one coat of clear epoxy sealer and be sanded between each coat. Only low VOC emitting paints, stains, enamels and sealers will be used. The doors will be removed/installed in stud walls covered with drywall. A pre-bid walkthrough will be held on April, 16 2008 at 0930.
