- Description
- The Idaho Panhandle National Forest; Priest Lake Idaho Bonner County, Idaho. This project is for the removal of an existing corrugated steel culvert on Canyon Creek and replacing it with a structural-plate open bottom arch culvert on concrete footings. This project is located in the Idaho Panhandle National Forests on Forest Development Road (FDR) No. 597G at Mile Post 2.5 in the Priest Lake Ranger District in Section 24, Township 30 North, Range 4 West, in Bonner County, Idaho The work includes but is not limited to clearing and grubbing, erosion control measures, structural excavation, roadway embankment, removing and disposing an existing culvert crossing, compaction, riprap, roadway surfacing, furnishing and erecting precast concrete foundation, furnishing and erecting a structural-plate arch culvert, and all other incidental items necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans and specifications. A Fixed Price Construction contract that requires the Contractor to furnish all labor, equipment, transportation, supplies, supervision, and incidentals necessary to achieve the objectives. Davis Bacon wage rates will apply. Price Range is between $25,000 to $100,000. Project is set aside for HubZone Certified contractors. Estimated start date is May 20,2009 for ordering of precast concrete footing. Work on –site is anticipated for July 15-September 15 in either 2009 or 2010 dates dependent on which year the work is preformed.
