- Description
- RECOVERY -- The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation at any time. This project is for the repair of the exterior wall of the Weapons Storage Area, Malmstrom AFB, MT. Work includes repair of exterior walls, including surface preparation, asbestos and lead based paint abatement, crack sealing of all types, furnish and install primer and paint, sealing, repair loose and or deteriorated caulking, mortar holds, cleanup and all incidental items necessary to complete the work. The Contractor shall provide all items, articles, materials, operations, or methods listed, mentioned or scheduled on the drawings and/ or specifications, including all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary and required for completion of the scope of this project. The Performance Period for this project is 120 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The anticipated magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. This Request For Proposal will be available on or about 22 March 2009. The Request For Proposal will be available by Electronic Transmission only at: http://www.fbo.gov. The Notice to Proceed may be issued within 30 days after award. Winter exclusion period will take effect from 15 November 2009 through 1 April 2010. This acquisition is for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses in accordance with FAR 19.14 Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Procurement Program. Potential offerors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award. (See Internet Site: http://www.ccr.gov). Payment for this acquisition will be made through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) System. Contractors must be registered in WAWF, see internet site: https://wawf.eb.mil for registration. Potential contractors must also be currently registered with ORCA. (See Internet Site: http://orca.bpn.gov/).
