- Description
- Vendor will provide manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision required to replace one existing exterior transfer switch. Replacement exterior transfer switch: # H7ATB31200C5F; new H-design; 7000 Series ASCO; Automatic Open transition bypass/isolation; solid neutral; 3 pole; 4 wire; 1200 amp; 208 volt; NEMA type 3R enclosure; will replace the existing Lakeshore 208 volt, 1200 amp switch. Vendor will remove the old switch; purchase and replace the new switch. Vendor will be responsible for testing/phasing/ and training of VA personnel on the new switch and to provide all manuals and tech support. Work must be performed/completed on a Saturday and in one (1) day so as not to disrupt onsite Research programs. Coordination of power shutdowns will be by VA personnel on the day the work is to be performed. This procurement is set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The solicitation will be posted O/A March 25, 2009.
