Description
Combined Synopsis P40- Carpet This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) #F4610CAR09 to establish two Blanket Purchase Agreements for Carpet installation, replacement, maintenance, removal of various flooring material. Submit written offers. Oral offers will not be accepted. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (www.bpn.gov). This procurement is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) FAC 2005-30 and DFARS Change Notice 20090115. North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) 238330 and Size Standard of $14.0 Million apply to this procurement. Statement of Work 1.0. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES 1.1. SCOPE OF SERVICES: Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, equipment, to remove and /or install flooring. Work to include removing items from walls, moving or covering office furniture, partitions, and /or cabinets. DO NOT screw or unscrew items from wall. Contractor will be required to replace office furniture, cabinets, and partitions that were moved for the removal/installation of flooring. Contractor may be required to attend a pre-site visit to confirm existing conditions prior to bidding on a job. 2.0 INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE: Contractor shall provide qualified personnel for inspection of contractor work to ensure that the requirements have been fulfilled. Final inspection and acceptance of work will be conducted by the government. 3.0 LICENSING/DOCUMENTATION: Contractor must be certified and licensed to do business as a Flooring and Floor Covering Contractor in the State of California in accordance with Business & Professions Code Division 3, Chapter 9, Contractors, Article 4 Classifications. 4.0 WORK SCHEDULE: Contractor will work with the government to schedule jobs. Work shall be completed during normal duty hours, 0700-1700, Monday through Saturday. Contractor shall not interfere with personnel in the area during work hours. 4.0 PAYMENT: Payment will be made using the Government Purchase Card. 5.0 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: This Blanket Purchase Agreement is for five (5) years. 6.0 HOLIDAYS: The following federal holidays are observed by Vandenberg AFB.
