- This synopsis notice constitutes the U.S. Military Academy's intent to solicit an estimated quantity of 50,000 USMA and US Insignias in various finishes. The insignias are to be manufactered in accordance with MIL-DTL-1563/3A Dated April 30, 1997 and MIL-DTL-15665/65A Dated June 2, 1998. The Contractor shall be required to submit first article for testing and approval by USMA prior to production. Delivery is required by June 1, 2009. The business size standard is 100% small business set aside. The applicable NAICS is 332999 with a size standard of 500 employees. The request for quotation will be issued on or about March 31, 2009. This synopsis notice will close on March 26, 2009 at 5 p.m. eastern time.
