- Channel Clearing and Bank Stabilization, Three Sites in the City of Nashville, Howard County, Arkansas This procurement is set-aside for a HUB-Zone small business firm. Description of Work: NRCS in Arkansas is announcing a project under the Emergency Watershed Protection Program (EWP) for Channel Clearing and Bank Stabilization at three sites in the City of Nashville, Howard County, Arkansas. Work includes channel clearing, shaping, and excavation, and bank stabilization, including rockfill, rock riprap, and geotextile. Magnitude of Work is between $100,000 and $250,000. Solicitation will issue on or about February 19, 2009 on FedBizOpps. Interested contractors are required to assure if any amendments to this solicitation have been issued prior to submitting a bid. Successful offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), http://www.ccr.gov, and must have completed the Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) to receive a contract award. Failure to register in these systems will result in the offer not being considered for award. The solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps on or about February 19, 2009, with offers received on or about March 25, 2009, or as stated in the solicitation. Site showing is scheduled on or about March 9, 2009.
