- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to procure on a sole source basis one (1) Microwave Office (MWO), Design Environment, Harmonic Balance, EMSight, Linear Simulator and Layout - Locked Software and Maintenance Agreement (12 months); and one (1) USB Hardware Key for MIC-PCB. These items will be procured from the sole source manufacturer, Applied Wave Research Inc (AWR), 1960 E Grand Ave, Ste 430, El Segundo CA 90245-5062. Please include any shipping cost for FOB Destination. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. The order shall be firm fixed price. FBO Destination, Dahlgren VA shall apply. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. The quote number is N00178-09-Q-3011 and is a request for quote. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. A written request for quote will not be issued as all items are identified in this synopsis. Quote is due 25 March 2009, no later than 12:00 noon (local NSWCDD time) with an anticipated award date by 15 April 2009. Quotes are encouraged to be submitted via EMAIL in Microsoft Word format to Janice.pilkerton@navy.mil or by FAX 540-653-6810. All quotes shall reference Quote number N00178-09-Q-3011. 2.
