- This notice is provided for information purposes only. This opportunity is available only to contractors under the Smithsonian Institution's IDIQ 8(a) program. This procurement is for the replacement of the roof and exterior masonry renovation of the Slate Hill Barn (Project No. 0970103) and installation of a utility loop for water and fire protection (Project No. 0970105). The North American Industry Code (NAICS) is 236220 and the annual size standard is $33.5 million. The estimated value of this procurement is between $1,000,000 to $3,000,000. It is the intent of the Smithsonian Institution to award a firm fixed price construction contract to the offeror whose price is most advantageous. A single or multiple awards will be made from this solicitation whichever is in the best interests of the Smithsonian Institution. Davis Bacon Wages in effect for Warren County, VA will prevail.
