- DESCRIPTION: This is a Sources Sought Notice. Reply to the Contracting Officer if you can provide the services below. VA Connecticut Healthcare System request voc rehab vendor to put on job placement workshops for some of our most appropriate Veterans. Services must be provided in the West Haven, CT area on the bus route. The Vendor must be able to run a month long (4 weeks) workshop. Have the ability to graduate 20 Veterans and have enough time for the Vender to get them jobs prior to then end of the fiscal year. Here are some of the requirements.1.Experience working with Veteran specific populations 2.Experience developing learning strategies for persons with mental illness and chronic homelessness 3.Emphasis on didactic teaching methods in group settings with up to 30 participants 4.Maximum 4 weeks and up to 4 hours per day 5.Must have an approve curriculum covering the following: Job searching techniques, Employer negotiation, Work-life balance, Mock interviewing, Emphasis on self help and skill development Assistance with resumes. This product will be provided for VA Connecticut Healthcare System, 950 Campbell Avenue, West Haven, CT 06516.
