- Electric water boiler is inoperative A large 110 kW water boiler manufactured in 1988 had failed many years. Although a similar boiler is currently in use, the food service program has since been operating without a back up boiler. The failed boiler is beyond repairs and has been abandoned in-place. Recommendations: Provide a replacement electric water boiler of the same capacity as the existing. Provide controls, electircal connections, water and drain piping. (Existing electric boiler data: Precision Parts Corporation, Model HWS5412V480-110, Serial Number 9504, Control: 3 steps of 30kW, 1 step of 20 kW). Boiler must meet a high efficiency rating available at time of purchase. Walk-Thru is scheduled for Thursday, March 26th, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. If needed, site visits will be done by APPOINTMENT ONLY and NO VISITS after Friday, March 27th, 2009.
