- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to procure, on a competitive basis, BMP-1 Infantry Fighting Vehicles (Quantity - 3) in accordance with the following specifications: Type Infantry fighting vehicle Place of origin Soviet Union Specifications Weight 13.2 tons Length 6.73 m Width 2.94 m Height 2.068 m Crew 3 (+8 passengers) Armor 33 mm (max)Primary armament 73mm 2A28 "Grom" low pressure smoothbore short-recoil semi-automatic gunSecondary armament 7.62 mm machine gun (PKT) Engine diesel UTD-20/3300 hp (225 kW) Power/weight 22.7 hp/tonne Suspension torsion bar Operational range 600 km Speed 65 km/h (road)45 km/h (off-road) The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, also intends to procure, on a competitive basis, the below items in accordance with the attached Statement of Work and the following specifications: T-72 Tank: Weight: 41.5 tons (83,000 LB) Length: 9.53m (31ft 3 in) Width: 3.59m (11ft 9in) Height: 2.23m (7ft 4in) Crew: 3 Main Gun: 125mm smooth bore (demilled breach ring & barrel)Engine: V-12 780HP Diesel Fuel cap: 1,200 L (320 U.S.gal) BMP-1 APC: Weight: 13.2 tons (26,500 LB) Length: 6.73m (22.1ft) Width: 2.94m (9.65ft) Height: 2.068m (6.784ft) Crew: 3 + 8 troops re Main Gun: 73mm smooth bore (demilled breach ring & barrel) Engine: UDT-20 6 cylinder Diesel 300HP HMMWV 1025 Weight: 5960 LB Length: 180in (15ft) Width: 85in (7ft 1in) Height: 73in (6ft 1in) Crew: 4 seats + gunner station Weapon: Weapon Station Platform (NO Weapons) turret only.
