- This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. The Government anticipates entering into a Firm Fixed Price contract for a quantity of 17 Target Sight Sensor (TSS) systems as well as associated non-recurring engineering costs. The TSS, also referred to as the AN/AAQ-30 Targeting Guidance Sets, shall be used on the U.S. Marine Corps AH-1Z SUPER COBRA Helicopter. The FOB point for all items shall be FOB Destination. Inspection & acceptance of the items shall be at source. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole source basis with Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control, 5600 Sand Lake Road, Orlando, FL 32819 in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". The Contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database, located at www.ccr.gov. The solicitation will be available on or about 4 May 2009 at the three websites listed above. Interested parties can download the solicitation from the three websites listed ! above, for no hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. All responsible parties may submit a proposal for this procurement, which will be considered by the Government.
