- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division has a requirement for repairs of fielded GE Itemiser3 Desktop Explosive Detectors P/N: P0007018-001. It is anticipated this action will result in a five-year firm fixed price (FFP) supply type Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source - under the authority of FAR Subpart 6.302-1 - GE Security. 1299 Pennsylvania Ave Suite 1100W, Washington, DC 20004. The minimum/maximum quantity to be procured under this contract will be 4/120 units. This requirement shall be governed by FAR Part 12, "Acquisition of Commercial Items", and FAR Subpart 13.5, "Test Program for Certain Commercial Items". Anticipated award will be made to GE Security Wilmington. The contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database, located at www.ccr.gov. The solicitation will be available on or about 08 April 2009 at the three websites listed above. I! nterested parties can download the solicitation from the three websites listed above, for no hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed.
