- Description
- Colville National Forest, Various Road Work. The Colville National Forest located in North Eastern Washington State has a requirement for various road work. The project will be located in Ferry, Stevens and Pend Oreille Counties, Washington State. The Contractors shall furnish all management, labor, equipment, supervision, tools, materials, transportation, operating supplies, supervision, workman’s compensation, unemployment insurance and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specification and provisions of the contract. The project consists of but not limited to culvert installation, constructing drivable drain dips, road obliteration, aggregate surfacing, paving, installing fish structures, stream bank protection, ditch and drainage cleaning, dust abatement and road side logging out throughout the Colville National Forest. The Government intends to issue a three year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contracts. Multiple awards are anticipated. The Government will issue task orders to perform the individual projects as they become funded. The project specifications and project location will be defined in the task order. All Contractors awarded this contract will have a fair opportunity to complete for the task order. The task order may be considered a service or a construction task order. All construction task orders over $30,000 will require a payment bond and all construction task orders over $100,000 will require both payment and performance bonds. The minimum guarantee for each award will be $2,000.00. The maximum aggregate total for all contracts awarded under this solicitation will not exceed $1,000,000.00. Contractor will be paid for actual work performed and ordered and also on quality. This project will be advertised as a written request for proposals. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about March 18, 2009. Proposals are estimated to be due April 20, 2009. The actual due date will be listed in the solicitation. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for HubZone small business concerns. NAICS code is 237990, size standard is $31 million.
