- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) as defined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e). NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) is conducting a market survey to obtain information on responsible sources that hold a General Services Administration (GSA) schedules, and small businesses that have the capability to provide Emergency Response Services (ERS). MCSC has a potential requirement for ERS. ERS support services will be performed at MCSC, Quantico Marine Base, Quantico, VA, and will entail the following: (1) flood recovery; (2) mold/mildew remediation water extraction; (3) carpet/floor cleaning/repair; (4) wall/drywall repair; (5) emergency utilities support; (6) debris removal; (7) roof repairs; (8) tree removal; and (9) carpet installation. The U.S. Marine Corps will use the results from this announcement to determine what capabilities exist in the marketplace. MCSC will not pay or provide reimbursement for any costs inc! urred in the preparation or delivery of the RFI. Interested parties are requested to submit a response in a Microsoft Office compatible format, not to exceed 10 pages, outlining their ability to meet or exceed the requirements identified above by no later than 2:00 PM EST, 18 March 2008. Interested parties should also include their business size/type, GSA contract number, if applicable. Only electronic submissions will be accepted. The SUBMISSION OF THIS INFORMATION IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO PROCURE ANY SERVICES/ITEMS.
