- The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) intends to award a sole source contract for support of professional court-reporting and transcription services for hearings, personal appearances, and other Defense Office of Hearings and Appeals (DOHA) proceedings held in the United States and military installations overseas. The contractor is responsible for all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to produce verbatim transcripts. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance of 9 March 2009- 8 June 2009. The NAICS code is 561492 and size standard is $7.0 million. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within five days after date of publication (NLT 16 March 2009, 10:00 am) of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
