- The Government anticipates to award a firm fixed price award to UltraSonic Systems, Inc, 135 Ward Hill Ave, Haverhill, MA 01835. One Prism 400 Photoresis Spray Coater is required. This equipment will be used in support of the Miniaturization of Missile Components. Ultrasonic's products are the only non-custom commercially available system that has a programmable 4-axis movement spray head with additional tilt positions and can coat a 20 inch square substrate. No other manufacturer can provide this equipment without performing non-recurring engineering and environmental qualification. No manufacturers other than Ultrasonic can provide these assemblies without being qualified, which represents a substantial duplication of costs that would not likely be recovered through open competition, only Ultrasonic and no other source will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be fully considered by the agency.
