- Description
- The 14th Contracting Squadron will issue a solicitation on or about 11 Mar 09 for the acquisition of Repair and Painting Services for an Elevated Water Storage Tank to be performed at Columbus AFB. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, equipment, materials, facilities, transportation and other items necessary to Repair and Paint the Elevated Water Storage Tank at Columbus AFB in accordance with the applicable Performance Work Statement (PWS). The required repair and painting of the elevated water storage tank will include but may not be limited to sandblasting, containment of lead based paint particles, welding, repair and replacement of cathodic protection system, coating interior of water tank with specialized lining, painting of outside of water tank and tower to include the painting application of provided USAF logo. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. The estimated period of performance will be 210 days from date of award. The proposed contract is 100% Small Business set-aside concern. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 237110 with an associated size standard of $33.5 Million. The Request for Proposal (RFP), the Statement of Work (SoW) and other associated attachments will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FEDBIZOPS) website at http://www.fbo.gov/. The RFP will be issued electronically. Paper copies of the RFP will not be provided. The RFP can be downloaded and printed from FEDBIZOPS. After the solicitation has been posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the website frequently for updates to the documents. All responsible Small Business sources may submit a proposal and shall be considered. Completed copies of the provisions at FAR 52.213-3 (Alt I), Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, must be submitted with the offer. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to award.. The web address for CCR is: http://www.bpn.gov/ccr/scripts/index.html.
