- THE DEPARTEMNT OF HOMELAND SECURITY CUSTOMS AND BORDER PROTECTION ADVERTISEMENT: An immediate need exists for a lease at a maximum of 10,000 square feet of contiguous hangar and office space, with 9,000 square feet of additional circulation space, contiguous outdoor storage, vehicle parking, and access to and from runways and taxiways, without the towing of aircraft, at the Imperial County Airport, El Centro California. The area of interest is defined as a facility that is within the confines of the Imperial County Airport Master Plan. The preference is for a hangar and office facility with modern utilities. The property should be available for occupancy on/about May 2009. The lease term shall be firm for one year, with four one year renewal options. The Government’s future improvements to the facility may include, but are not limited to, installing secured perimeter fencing, interior furnishings, maintenance areas, erecting light poles, and security systems.
