Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure, on a competitive basis, various types of carriage systems/pods, ballast rods and Engineering, Technical and Repair support services for the Carriage Systems/Pods in accordance with NAWCWD Statements of Work, and NAVAIR Drawings 1611AS11001V1-2,1611AS11002V1, 1611AS11001V2-2, 1611AS11002V2, 1356AS1105-167-1, 1356AS1105-167-3, 1611AS13400-1, 1611AS13400-3, 1236AS5005, 1236AS5096, 1611AS12600, 1611AS14073, 1611AS14074, 1611ASA14078. The carriage systems produced are used to carry the AN/ULQ-21(V) countermeasures set modules, AN/UPT-2 emitter modules and other countermeasure and emitter modules. These systems are used to evaluate U.S. Weapons systems and to train Fleet operators. Pricing of the carriage system/pod units shall be on a fixed price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) basis and pricing for the Engineering, Technical and Repair support services shall be on a time and material basis. Contract award may be made on a First Article Required or First Article Waived basis for the carriage systems/pods. The Government reserves the right to waive First Article for carriage systems/pods that ha! ve been previously delivered by an offeror and accepted by the Government within the last two years. A minimum of 1 unit will be ordered at contract award, and a maximum of 2,350 units total of the various carriage systems/pods and ballast rods may be ordered over the five-year period of performance. Delivery of all units shall be FOB Destination to Naval Air Station, Point Mugu, CA beginning no later than 300 days after the effective date of the delivery order at a rate no less than 3 units per month.
