"THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER THE CURRENT DYESS AFB AIRFIELD PAVEMENTS REQUIREMENTS CONTRACT" "Repair Airfield Pavements 2009 Stimulus Projects" The following stimulus projects call for various repairs to the airfield (runway, taxiways, parking ramp) pavements at Dyess AFB, Texas. These stimulus projects will be awarded as part of the existing requirements type IDIQ contract. The projects are as follows: 1) Resurface Overruns (magnitude between $500,000 and $1,000,000) 2) Repair Taxiway A Slabs (magnitude between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000) 3) Repair Taxiway A Slabs/Spalls (magnitude between $500,000 and $1,000,000) 4) Repair of Shoulders, Taxiway C & D (magnitude between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000) 5) Repair C-130 Apron Slabs (magnitude between $250,000 and $500,000) Work will include but is not necessarily limited to: 1) portland cement concrete and hot mix asphaltic concrete pavement section replacement, 2) installation of asphalt overlays, 3) installation of pavement markings, 4) spall repairs, and 5) milling/grinding of pavement surfaces.
