- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This procurement is for the purchase of a surgi-cam digital video camera system. Includes: camera, 2x lens, foot pedal, stationary arm, and iris mount. Camera must be able to be mounted to all types of dental loupes, separate arms, and lights. Camera must be completely digital with 4mm high intensity light attached. Must be able to be plugged into any available light source in the operating room. System must have the capability of 1x, 2x, 3x, and 5x lenses. System must download through USB directly to any laptop with the software provided. Once downloaded, any editing software must be able to be used. This procurement is being conducted using full and open competition procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-30 (effective 17 February 2009) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Change Notice 20090115. FAR 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 apply to this acquisition. WAWF procedures also apply. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies. Technical capability will be evaluated by how well the proposed product meets the government requirement instead of predetermined sub-factors. Evaluation Basis for Award: Award will be made to the offeror who has the lowest priced, technically acceptable proposal. It is the offeror's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. The delivery date of this item is 30 days after receipt of Order (DARO), FOB Destination, Brooks City-Base, TX. The NAICS Code is 333314; the size standard is 500 people. The type contract anticipated is firm-fixed price. A due date of offers will be 3:00 PM, Central Time, 16 March 2008.
