- ITEM DESCRIPTION: Seal, Rotating, Air NSN: 5330-00-045-3926 SOLICITATION PERIOD: 14 days ISSUE DATE: March 23, 2009 CLOSING DATE: April 6, 2009 QUANTITY 150 EA SPECIFICATION: This acquisition will contain a quantity option provision that will allow the Government to purchase additional units in an amount up to 50% of the base quantity should conditions warrant. This is a Navy Identified Critical Safety Item (CSI). The requirements of CSI will be strictly adhered to. In addition, Government First Article Testing (FAT) and Contractor Production Lot Testing (PLT) are required. General Electric Company (99207) P/N 4019T61G01, Acceptable Source: Berkshire Industries Inc. (07039) DESTINATION: Defense Distribution Depots in Depot, New Cumberland, PA. DELIVERY: 270 days (including time for processing FAT) ACQUISITION NOTES: Unrestricted. NO DRAWINGS ARE AVAILABLE. It is the Government’s intention to use simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 to award a firm fixed-price contract.
